Class notes on devices can become disorganized quickly, but we have solved that.Following a simple set of patterns, class notes become a rough draft that evolves, becoming more clear and refined with each review. By the time exams come around, study-guides have emerged organically.Since these distilled notes remain alive on students' devices after graduation, they form a foundation for permanent retention far surpassing mere test prep.And, it is all the students' own writing, so it primes their ability to develop their own ideas so they can do the creative work of meaning that is uniquely theirs.

🌿🦜Jungle Learners is a constructivist learning method for individuals beginning in high school. It’s built on two concepts. The first is the awareness that everything’s connected. The world is a dense jungle of ideas, and they’re all connected. The second concept is the awareness, that each learner’s personality contains innately its own enthusiasm for creating. The more connections the learner creates, the deeper the understanding. Over time, learners grow personalized collections of ideas, which are grounded to their unique personalities according to all their preferences and compulsions.That’s the theory side. On the tangible side, 🌿🦜Jungle Learners introduces an array of practical, digital note-keeping and documentation patterns that learners may selectively adopt and adapt for their personal use in school and beyond.Just a couple decades ago, the ability to type fast was a relatively rare skill among students. Those who learned it young, benefited permanently. Likewise, those who learn the digital note-keeping and documentation patterns of 🌿🦜Jungle Learners, they will have advantages permanently.These patterns are simple and adaptable. They are useful to those students who take a lot of notes or just a few.If you are following so far, here is the unique capability of the method:The method provides an intuitive way for learners to actively interact with THEIR OWN IDEAS.By actively interacting with their own digital notes, by editing old notes, by annotating, by creating new links between notes, by this active process, learners create and bolster connections between ideas.Students just need somebody to show them ONCE how to do it. They’ll know right away which bits and patterns they can use. They’ll see quickly how they can grow collections of ideas from scans to digital notebooks and from phone to cloud. They’ll know what they can do with it.
